Willmore Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us about how you use Willmore. Please read them. We have written them in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, but they are still a binding agreement.
If you do not agree with them, please do not use Willmore.
1. Who we are
Willmore is operated by 14297849 Canada Inc., operating as Willmore, based in Ontario, Canada. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. “You” means you, the person using Willmore.

2. What Willmore is, and what it is not
Willmore is a tool that helps you understand your household bills. It reads bills you upload, breaks down the charges, compares them against other households, and can generate a script you might use when calling your provider.
Willmore is not:
financial advice. We are not financial advisors, brokers, or licensed professionals of any kind. Nothing in Willmore is a recommendation about your finances.
a broker or agent. We do not negotiate on your behalf, switch anything on your behalf, or contact your providers for you. Every decision and every phone call is yours.
affiliated with your providers. We are not connected to, endorsed by, or acting for any utility, telecom, insurer or municipality whose bills you upload.
a bill payment service. We never pay a bill for you and we never touch your money.
You are responsible for your own decisions about your bills, your contracts and your providers.
3. Early access
Willmore is in early access. That means it is incomplete, it will change, and it will sometimes be wrong.
Features may be added, changed or removed without notice. The service may be unavailable at times. Data you enter may be affected by changes we make while we are building. We do not offer any uptime guarantee, and we do not promise the service will continue to exist in its current form.
If you are relying on Willmore for something important, verify it independently.
4. Accuracy, and the limits of it
This section matters more than any other, so please read it carefully.
Willmore reads your bills using automated systems, and those systems make mistakes. A charge may be read incorrectly. A category may be assigned wrongly. A total may not match your actual bill. We have built the service to reconcile against the printed figures on your bill and to tell you when it is unsure, but we cannot guarantee any figure is correct.
Comparisons are estimates. When we tell you how your bill compares to similar households, that is a calculation based on data other users have provided. It is not a market survey, it is not a guarantee that a better rate exists, and it is not a statement about what you personally would be offered.
Negotiation scripts are suggestions, not promises. A script we generate is a starting point for a conversation. We do not guarantee your provider will offer you anything, that any figure in the script is accurate, or that using it will save you money. Some providers may respond unfavourably. That risk is yours.
Always check the original bill. Before you act on anything Willmore shows you, including calling a provider, cancelling a service or switching providers, confirm the figures against your actual bill and your actual contract.
We are not responsible for the outcome of decisions you make using Willmore. That includes cancellation fees, contract penalties, loss of promotional pricing, service interruptions, worse rates, or any other consequence of a change you choose to make.
5. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older and resident in Canada to use Willmore.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it accurate.
6. Your bills and your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. Uploading a bill does not give us any ownership of it.
You give us permission to process what you upload for the purpose of running the service: reading it, extracting figures, generating comparisons and scripts, and including anonymised figures in the aggregate benchmarks other users see. Individual bills are never shown to other users.
You confirm that you have the right to upload the bills you upload. Do not upload documents belonging to someone else without their permission.
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
use Willmore for anything unlawful
upload documents you do not have the right to upload
attempt to access another user’s account or data
attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service
scrape, copy or resell our data or our benchmarks
use the service to build a competing product
upload malware, or anything designed to interfere with the service
We may suspend or close your account if you do any of these.
8. Cost
Willmore is currently free to use.
We may introduce paid features in future. If we do, we will tell you before any charge applies, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it first. Free features you are using today will not become paid without notice.
9. Provider recommendations and commissions
If Willmore ever suggests an alternative provider, we may earn a commission if you switch through our link. A commission never changes the figures we show you or the order in which we present options, and we label any link that earns us one. This is set out further in our Privacy Policy.
Any agreement you enter into with another provider is between you and them. We are not a party to it, and we are not responsible for their service, their pricing, or how they treat you.
10. Our intellectual property
Willmore, including the software, design, branding, name and logo, belongs to us. These terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We provide Willmore “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We are not liable for:
indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages of any kind
lost savings, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any amount you did or did not save on a bill
costs, fees or penalties arising from a decision you made using Willmore
loss or corruption of data
any act or omission of a provider, or of any third party service we rely on
Our total liability to you, for any and all claims arising out of or relating to Willmore, is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CA$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your uploading of content you did not have the right to upload.
13. Ending it
You can stop at any time. Delete your account from Settings. Everything is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
We can too. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if we stop operating the service. Where we can reasonably give you notice and an opportunity to export your data, we will.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use Willmore after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Ontario, and you and we both agree to that.
Nothing in these terms removes any consumer protection right you have under the law of the province where you live.
16. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Willmore.
